Signs of the End of the World

What is happening to our world?

It feels like everything is falling apart, everyone is going crazy, and that we’re headed toward an inevitable train wreck that will collapse society.

  • Nations are at war, with regular threats of nuclear weapons.
  • The Middle East could explode into full-scale conflict at any moment.
  • The U.S. is deeply divided.
  • Politicians and leaders can’t be trusted.
  • The media is biased and pushes its own agenda.
  • We’re told the climate is changing—which is why we see natural disaster after disaster—and somehow, it’s on us to fix it.
  • People don’t care about each other like they used to.
  • Hate, crime, and violence are widespread.
  • Families are breaking apart.
  • Marriages don’t last.
  • Honest relationships are hard to find.
  • Promiscuity has become normal.
  • Women are trying to be men. Men are trying to be women.
  • Children aren’t just at risk—they’re being hunted by twisted predators hiding in plain sight.
  • Kids are growing up confused, rebellious, and addicted to social media.
  • Anxiety and depression have gripped more people today than at any point in recent history—yet most don’t know how to break free.
  • And so many are in pain and suffering every day under the weight of cancer, disease, and sickness.

And the problems just go on and on and on.

Is this normal? Is this how it’s supposed to be? Are things going to get better? Can anyone actually fix the problems crippling society? Or is the world just going to crash and burn—with all of us trapped inside?

If you ask yourself these types of questions—you’re not crazy. You’re not alone. And you’re right to be concerned.

Why the World Is Falling Apart

The world is falling apart, but there are answers. There is a better future for you to look forward to. And there is a real solution to the problems we see around us that will change your life now—if you act on it.

So let’s cut to the chase. The world is broken because humanity has rejected the One who created us and designed the world in which we live.

In describing the general condition of mankind, the Bible says:

They have together become unprofitable; there is none who does good, no, not one... Their feet are swift to shed blood; destruction and misery are in their ways; and the way of peace they have not known. There is no fear of God before their eyes (Romans 3:10-18).

We’re also told that Satan the Devil has deceived the whole world (Revelation 12:9).

We’re Not Doing Things God’s Way

Mankind has turned away from His Maker. As a result, human selfishness, pride, lust, and greed have led to misery and destruction. Think about it.

  • If all people and nations understood and upheld God’s standard of right and wrong, they would keep His Ten Commandments. This alone would radically change the entire world. It would put a stop to murder, violence, adultery, lies, theft, and religious confusion (Exodus 20:1-17).
  • If all people and nations understood why God made us and what our purpose in life is, they would have meaning and fulfillment (John 10:10). They would not be confused, lost, and hopeless (Jeremiah 29:11).
  • If all people and nations understood the way to peace and walked in it, there would not be war in Ukraine, bombs dropped in Iran, missiles launched into Israel, and genocide in Africa.
  • If all people were taught and embraced God’s design for family, and the proper roles for men and women, they would experience greater love, togetherness, and happiness in the home.
  • If all people learned and followed the biblical principles of diet and health, they would find healing and wellness—both physically and mentally.
  • If all people were taught God’s ways—if they were shown how to choose humility over pride, generosity over greed, outgoing concern over selfishness, and truth over lies—then our world could finally become the world we all wish we had. It would truly become a place of peace, equity, justice, and joy.

Ultimately God’s biblical principles are being broken, and this is the root cause of all of our problems.

Know God’s Plan to Fix the World

The good news is that this won’t go on forever. God has a plan. He has a solution.

The solution is to teach and enforce true biblical principles across the globe.

And that is exactly what will happen when Jesus Christ returns to earth to take over and establish His one-world ruling government. The Bible refers to this as the Kingdom of God—this is the Gospel of the Kingdom of God.

The prophet Isaiah foretold of this Kingdom, saying:

For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder... Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end, upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever (Isaiah 9:6-7).

Jesus Christ Will Bring God’s Government

Yes, Jesus Christ will return to fix the problems crippling society.

He will be King over all the earth (Zechariah. 14:9). He is the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6), the King of kings and Lord of lords (Revelation 19:16).

His return will begin the “times of restoration of all things” (Acts 3:21).

Bible Verses About Hope for the Future

This will be a time when all nations will lay down their weapons and stop fighting, Isaiah 2:4 says.

They shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore.

It will be a time of healing. The blind will see, the deaf will hear, the lame will leap (Isaiah 35:5-6).

It will be a time of prosperity and abundance (Amos 9:13).

It will be a time when “the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD as the waters cover the sea” (Isaiah 11:9, Habakkuk 2:14).

And It will be a time when people from every nation will go to Jerusalem to learn God’s laws.

Many people shall come and say, “Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, and we shall walk in His paths.” For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem (Isaiah 2:3).

And this is only a glimpse into the incredible future God has in store for our world.

Jeremiah 29:11 says:

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

This is something that you can put your hope in and look forward to.

Jesus’ return and the establishment of His kingdom is the only solution to our problems. It will happen.

Following Jesus: Live God’s Way of Life Now

Now, here’s one of the most profound truths you may never have heard: You can be there and actively take part in fixing the problems of our broken world.

God is calling people now to prepare for that future—to learn His way of life and help build a better world. He is working with individuals who will reign alongside Jesus Christ in the coming Kingdom of God.

Speaking of faithful Christians, Revelation 20:4 says:

And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

So what can you do?

God, speaking to His people in captivity, told them:

“Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you,” says the LORD (Jeremiah 29:12-14).

Embrace the way of life that God commands us to live.

In particular the Ten Commandments teach us how to love God and love our fellow human beings.

The Apostle John wrote:

Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him (1 John 2:3-5).

Later in the same epistle, he writes:

For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome (1 John 5:3).

Ultimately, if we seek Him with all our heart, we come to know Him, His way of life, and make real changes, we can be a part of His Kingdom and reign beside Jesus Christ to fix this world.

Don’t Give Up—You Are Not Alone

So, if you see the evil in our world, if you’re upset by corruption and perversion, if you’re watching society tear itself apart and are tired of it, you are not alone. There are others like you. You don’t have to go through it by yourself.

In the book of Romans, God inspired the Apostle Paul to write:

Do you not know what the Scripture says of Elijah, how he pleads with God against Israel, saying, “LORD, they have killed Your prophets and torn down Your altars, and I alone am left, and they seek my life”? But what does the divine response say to him? “I have reserved for Myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal.” Even so then, at this present time there is a remnant according to the election of grace (Romans 11:2-5).

There’s a remnant today—people who see what’s happening today, like you do—who are choosing a different path.

There is a truly exciting, rewarding, and incredible future ahead. You don’t want to miss out.

So don’t give in to the darkness. Don’t give up on hope. And don’t walk this road alone.

There is truth. There is hope. And there is a future worth living for.
