Have you ever found yourself waiting in line, online, or for something big in your life to come down the line, and had to remind yourself that, whatever the situation, the hoped-for object would be “worth the wait”? No one likes to wait (especially when we’re young), but it’s very nearly a universal human experience that we all have to wait for something.

Tiny little bats can hear far better than humans, and their survival depends on their unique abilities. But mankind’s future depends on “hearing” a truth far beyond the understanding of any beast, through a power that comes from God alone.

Growing up, we may have let peer pressure get us involved in something without thinking it through fully. When our moms found out, they would ask, “If everyone was going to jump off the bridge, would you go jump, too?” Mom was sincerely looking out for our well-being. She said this to make us think, Why am I about to do this thing everyone else is doing? But how much of society still follows the crowd every year?
