Thank you so much for this article [“Why Observe Easter?,” March-April 2019] and the “Easter” booklet. I’ve been trying to explain to family/friends why we should stop following man-made traditions. Your work and these articles are so beneficial to opening eyes and ears. I’ve always questioned how Friday night to Sunday morning was three days and three nights. Thank you for your time and research to explain it. May you be blessed in all you do.

Should you ever consult clairvoyants?

Question: Is it ever acceptable to seek information from “clairvoyants” such as psychics, mediums, or fortune-tellers? Many people seem to receive great help and comfort from such information. What does the Bible say about this?

What’s wrong with “Jesus pictures”?

Question: As much as Tomorrow’s World claims to be a Christian organization, I have never once seen it use any pictures, artwork, or graphics depicting Jesus Christ, even though many other religious publications do. Why is that?

Answer: Although artists have long depicted Jesus Christ, and fanciful images of Him abound today—in and around cathedrals, churches, art museums, literature, religious documents, and in peoples’ homes—they are most certainly false representations.

The Difficult Way and the Light Burden

Question: If the gate is narrow and the way difficult, as Jesus Christ stated in Matthew 7:13–14, then how could His yoke be easy and His burden light (Matthew 11:30)? Please explain this apparent contradiction.

Answer: At first glance, this may appear to be a contradiction, but in fact, it is not. To answer your question, we need to understand each passage, beginning with Matthew 7:13–14.
